Yay for the long weekend!

What are you all doing for long the weekend? James and I have a few family BBQs on Sunday and the rest of the weekend is ours. Excited to finish reading the Hunger Games trilogy because I've been really lazy lately and have put the books on the back burner and I plan on booking our July vacation to the north west! Enjoy your weekend everyone!

Hi friends, hope you had a nice weekend! We had fun in Catalina, the house we stayed at was amazing, it was a Spanish style three level with a fabulous view of Avalon Bay. What are your plans for the weekend? James and I dropped off the pups and are heading over to Catalina Island with family. James' cousin Amanda rented a house and we're excited to barbecue, drink some beers and just enjoy the nice southern California weather. Weekend recap...

*Baby Zaylah was born...and of course is a beauty, perfect addition to their cute little family. Zane and Zoe are so happy to have a new baby sister;)*

James and I found a puppy, she's a lab, such a sweet girl. Although we'd love to keep her, we can't, so we're looking for a nice family that can take her in...

I took a cooking class at Roy's in Pasadena, it was fun being in the kitchen, hanging out with some of my favorite ladies, and eating some yummy food;) very satisfying!

Nice walk on Sunday afternoon to close the weekend right;)

We ended the weekend by taking a nice long afternoon walk with Ted;)

Your office used to be my favorite place to visit during the day. A place where I could find solace in an old friends comforting words of wisdom or a giggle at a crazy blog she’d found but alas those days are over…that same safe haven is now plagued by things I can’t even bring myself to write about…it will never be the same again and I know that to be the sad truth now but I accept it.

 

 

Dear Norma’s office,

 

I miss your old, comfy, familiar feel…the one that is like coming home to a roaring fire place, a cup of hot coco with creamy, rich, whipped cream after a day out in the snow. Or sliding into your favorite old pair of perfectly broken in jeans that are worn in just the right places after losing a battle against all the skinny clothes you bought because you were gonna fit into them damn it…even if it killed you! I miss the old us.

Hello 2012

Happy New Year!!

It's been a while, but I'm back. The last few months have been busy! The year ended well and I'm really looking forward to a good year:) lots of plans for 2012. I will be seeing you guys and hope this year brings everyone good things!!
